Marine Planning Iteration 3 engagement

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: marine planning

Marine plan development for the North West, North East, South West and South East areas follows an iterative process, from plan area selection to implementation and monitoring.

Our Iteration 3 online engagement is open from Monday 21 January until Friday 29 March. This is the most comprehensive way to view and provide comments on the Iteration 3 products.

Between 29 January and 28 February we will be engaging on the Iteration 3 outputs for marine planning in the four areas mentioned above through a series of free to attend workshops. The workshops will support the online engagement and provide further opportunities to comment on the Iteration 3 products.

The online engagement and workshops provide the ideal opportunity to check progress towards the development of the plans. The engagement on Iteration 3 outputs will focus on:

  • preferred draft policies
  • draft supporting text for policies including on implementation
  • the next steps in marine planning
