Marine planning in the South, join us and get involved

Posted by: and , Posted on: - Categories: marine planning

Marine planning began in the South back in 2012, and since then with your help we’ve come a long way. Core issues have been identified based on the best available evidence and following on from this we worked closely with stakeholders to develop a vision and objectives for the South marine plan areas. A huge thank you to everyone who has taken part to date and it’s that time again for you to get involved in the next stage of marine planning – options.

This work will directly influence plan options and policies and is a great opportunity to ensure the waters around the South coast are safe, clean and productive in years to come.

We are holding three workshops across the South coast in February and hope you can attend. Views of those who regularly use or enjoy our coast and seas are vitally important.

Dates, times and locations of the workshops are:

Wednesday 11 February – Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel

Thursday 12 February – Novotel, Southampton

Friday 13 February – Ocean Blue, Exmouth

Please click on a workshop link above to register your interest for a place at one of our sessions via eventbrite. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Delegate information, including logistics will be sent out to attendees prior to the first workshop.

We hope to see you there!
