On Saturday 13 September I attended the annual Fishstock event in Brixham along with a number of colleagues from the MMO. It was a brilliant opportunity to meet with members of the local fishing industry and community and hear first-hand of how our work affects them.
On the day we held a prize draw to find out from the attendees of Fishstock what the South Marine Plan areas meant to them in a word or phrase.
All those who took part in the draw and submitted a valid email and address or phone number, were given a chance of winning two fantastic fish-shaped serving dishes. The results of this survey went to develop the wordle shown below. The larger the word or phrase, the more entries of that word or phrase were submitted.
We are pleased to announce the winner of the Fishstock South Marine Plan prize draw. Congratulations to Sheila Simpson from Brixham who won the prize of two beautiful fish shaped serving dishes.
